About Me
My name is Gökhan. I was born and raised in Afyonkarahisar, where I completed my primary and secondary education. I later enrolled in the Associate Degree Program in Accounting at Afyon Vocational School, Afyon Kocatepe University, receiving formal, on-campus education in Turkish. I discontinued the program in 2007. During this period, I completed additional training in computer software and marketing, and participated in European Union joint programs to support my professional development.
I began my career in the retail industry, focusing on sales and marketing, and further enhanced my management capabilities as a store manager. From 2013 until 21 December 2025, I worked as a Debt Collection Officer and Financial Consultant at the Tradesmen and Craftsmen Credit and Guarantee Cooperative in Afyonkarahisar, specializing in accounting and tax regulations.
As of 1 December 2025, I have started a new role as a Financial Representative at Sinpas Housing Savings Fund Inc, where I continue to expand my expertise in the financial sector.
My professional competencies include financial analysis, accounting, in-depth knowledge of tax legislation, effective debt collection, and client relationship management. I also have experience in developing sales and marketing strategies. My strengths include problem-solving, analytical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, time management, and attention to detail.
My career goal is to advance into mid- and senior-level management positions within the financial sector. I aim to take on roles such as Financial Manager, Branch Manager, Regional Finance Manager, or other leadership roles where I can contribute to organizational growth while further developing my strategic, analytical, and leadership abilities.
My personal interests include technology, art, cinema, travel, music, and acting. I enjoy exploring new places and researching their cultural and historical aspects. In my free time, I review films as an amateur critic. I am also passionate about gastronomy—particularly whiskey tasting and connoisseurship—and plan to pursue related research and future events.
